13's/14's WINTER JO TEAM(S)
7th - 8th Grade
The 13U/14U Short Season program is a sign up to play team option for 7th and 8th graders that does not require a tryout and is ideal for athletes who play a spring sport. It provides a positive team experience at a lower overall cost as compared to the elite team's program. Our focus for this age group here at MWP is to continue development of our FUNdamental skills while adding in the complexities of offense and defense.
SEASON KICKOFF/TEAM PLACEMENT EVALUATIONS

Season starts with two skills training/evaluation practices

Sunday, October 30th and Sunday, November 6th at 1:00pm to 3:00pm
-
Regular practices begin the week of Nov 28th
-
Teams will be divided by age, ability and positional needs
-
No tryouts, no cuts. There are 10 spots available for each team, register
and pay the first season payment of $500 to secure your daughter's roster spot.
COMPETITIONS

Team specific competition schedules released by early December
-
6 competitive events in the Twin Cities metro area
-
Tentative Dec 17th first competition, then throughout Feb and early Mar
-
Competitions may be on either Saturday or Sunday

AGE QUALIFICATION

7th / 8th grade, or at the 13U / 14U age level according to the age classification
REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Capacity is typically reached prior to the kickoff date of Sunday, October 30th

Registration will close by Sat, Oct 29th or when capacity is reached

13u/14u filled, we will be accepting players to add to each teams wait list.
PRACTICES / FEES

Practice 2X per week (2 Hours each)

Cost:13U and 14U $750.00

Payment plan option ($500 upfront, then one payment of $250 or two payments of $125)

Tournaments (6 - 8. With 1-2 Multi-day Tournaments - Metro Area or Rochester)
