WINTER SEASON OVERVIEW

Winter teams kick off their season in November for 13U to 18U athletes. Check our website in the weeks ahead for continually updated information about tournament schedules, practice days, apparel options, coaches, and cost estimates.

 

16U-18U ELITE TEAMS (National and Regional)

• Tryout required

• Teams fielded based on experience and positional needs

• The top 1-3 teams per age division will be National / Regional teams

• Season starts in November, ends in May (for Regional) or June (for National)

• Multi-sport athletes welcomed/encouraged

15U-18U JO SEASON TEAMS (Local)

• Tryout required

• Teams fielded based on experience and positional needs

• Budget friendly team experience

• Season starts in November and ends in March

13U-14U JO SEASON TEAMS (Local)

• No tryout required -- just register

• Developmental lower cost team experience

• Team placement based on experience and positional needs

• Ideal for girls with 1 or more years of volleyball experience

• Season starts in November and ends in March

REGIONAL/NATIONAL ELITE TEAMS

Season kicks off with tryouts in November and ends in May. Participating in at least two competitive events outside of Minnesota, regional teams will conclude their season prior to Memorial Day weekend. Nationals are optional and will add additional cost to each player's overall season fees.

LOCAL JO SEASON TEAMS

Season kicks off with tryouts in November and ends in March. Local, short season teams are ideal for athletes who play a spring sport or for those who want a positive team experience at a lower overall cost. These short season teams will participate in tournaments or league events in the metro twin cities area and will stay in-state.
