JASON SMITH

FOUNDER & DIRECTOR / RECRUITING COORDINATOR

Jason is the owner and director of MWPower. Jason studied Exercise Science and Business at Moorhead State. Jason has an extensive background in athletics and sports recruiting from volleyball, football, and basketball. Since starting OMG 5 years ago, Jason has been involved as an assistant with ages ranging from (freshman - seniors) with abilities from (beginners to college bound). In his 5 years at the club level, Jason has helped 10+ athletes reach the collegiate level. Beyond club, Jason spent 4 years as an athletic recruiter, assisting high school athletes who wish to play collegiate sports.

Erica Smith

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR / PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

 

Erica is the Associate Director of MW Power and Head of Player Development. She has an extensive volleyball background, which includes competing at the high school, club, and collegiate level. Erica earned All-Area awards in high school and was also an All-America at the collegiate level. Erica went on to earn her Exercise Science degree from MN State University Moorhead. After earning her degree, Erica moved to the St. Cloud area to begin her career as a JO/Club volleyball coach. Shortly after beginning OMG, Erica was offered the opportunity to join her collegiate rival and become the Head Volleyball Coach at Ridgewater College. Erica has 15+ years of coaching experience, which includes personal lessons to youth and collegiate players. She also oversees and directs all teams in our program.
