Why I Coach:
I coach because sport is a beautiful thing. I enjoy trying to get better at something and finally seeing that light bulb go off in my athletes when it clicks. I've had some amazing coaches in my career who have helped me become who I am, and I hope that I can inspire my athletes just as my coaches have done for me.

REAGAN JOSEPH
18's PURPLE: HEAD COACH | 14's PURPLE: CO-COACH
Experience:
I started volleyball in 5th grade and went on to play at Hill Murray High School and White Bear Lake Volleyball Club primarily as a middle hitter. I started coaching in 2021 at White Bear Lake Volleyball Club as an assistant coach at the 15s level. I have coached for MWP at the 15s, 16s, and 18s levels, and this will be my third year. I was also the assistant varsity coach for Apollo in 2023 and was the JV head coach at Little Falls this past season. I am currently the Assistant Coach at Alexandria Technical College.
Why I Coach:
Coaching is by far the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I love watching the girls’ transformations and growth from the beginning of the season to the end, not only as players but as people. Volleyball has also always been my safe space since I started playing, and I want to pass on my love for the sport onto the next generation of players.

SYDNEY ULRICH
18's PURPLE: ASSISTANT COACH
Experience:
Sydney Ulrich is a passionate volleyball coach coming to Midwest Power for her second season. She was a 5-year Varsity Letterwoman at Rogers High School in volleyball, golf, and power lifting, and played Club volleyball for 5 years. From Rogers, Sydney went on to earn her degree in both Marketing and Coaching at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a master’s in business administration at MidAmerica Nazarene University. At UW-Eau Claire, she was a 4-year Student Assistant for the Blugolds Football. Football would
take Sydney to both Kansas and New Jersey, where she was the Director of Football Operations at MidAmerica Nazarene University (NAIA) and Recruiting Operations Coordinator at Rutgers University (DI). Beyond three years of working in collegiate recruiting, academics, and team operations, Sydney also has a three-year background in coaching club volleyball, combined between Club Velocity, Club 43, and MWP.
Why I Coach:
Sydney has a passion to serve once again for a sport that had such a positive impact on her life. Athletes part of her team will feel that they are so much more than volleyball. They are students, daughters, and members of this community. When it comes time to hang up their shoes, she hopes they can look back and be proud of where they started and where they are now. If she gets to be part of that growth, well then, she is one lucky
coach.

COURTNEY LAMM
17's NATIONAL: HEAD COACH | 14's PURPLE: CO-COACH

Courtney continues to expand her knowledge of the game; she's has worked and continues to work with the NCR High Performance program.
Why I Coach:
I coach because I strive to spread my passion for this game through the next generation. I love watching the girls grow as players, teammates, and individuals throughout the season. Coaching with Midwest Power has brought me lots of laughs, many memories, and lifelong friends, and I’m excited to grow as a coach for another season with some of the best coaches I know.

Why I Coach:
As a special education teacher, mother and former Phy-ed teacher I have the ability to connect quickly with youth and adapt my approach and drills to meet the level of any player. Through experiences I have learned the importance of working together within a team to achieve success. One way to do that is by knowing how to identify and use the strengths of each player to obtain that success.
