COACHING APPLICATION

Thank you for considering a coaching position with MVP volleyball club. Before you complete this online application, please familiarize yourself with our organization if you have not done so already.  In particular, we want you to be aware of our  philosophy, expectations, and goals. We completely respect the fact that not every coach is going to prefer to operate under this idea. But our goal is to ensure a great fit between MWP Volleyball, it's coaches, players and parents. If you agree with and endorse what we represent, we look forward to receiving your coaching application.

We are looking to add coaches to our staff that care about their players as girls / young women more than they care about what coaching will do for themselves. What makes MWP special is that we are a family and we make a significant investment in the development of our coaching staff who we expect to make an significant investment in all MWP players. Our top priority is excellence in volleyball training and skill development. In order to execute this, we seek to employ coaches we can trust to lead our group of athletes.

We are seeking coaches who approach coaching with professionalism. I am absolutely aware that most people coach as an extra source of income (rather than primarily making a living coaching). However, we believe that just because coaching is a secondary role in your professional life, that it cannot and should be pursued with professionalism characterized by organization, reliability, effort and care.

I hope you can pause and look at coaching as more than a source of income. Realize that you are in a position to change a young persons life through volleyball. Understand that we are not just chasing wins and loses, we aim to help young people become better versions of themselves that their parents and community can be proud of.
